Which Client Portal Do I Need?

Ally Drez does two different things, so there are two different places your account can live. If you have landed on a login screen that does not seem to know who you are, you are almost certainly at the wrong one, and that is our fault rather than yours. Here is how to tell them apart in about ten seconds.

The Short Version

  • Hosting, a domain, or a website we built for you – your portal is at store.allydrez.com.
  • DrezSync, our booking plugin for Gravity Forms – your license lives inside your own WordPress site, not on a portal. The customer portal is where you download the plugin and handle billing. More on that below.

If You Host With Us, or Have a Domain

Your portal lives at store.allydrez.com. That is home to your invoices, your hosting services, your domains, and your support tickets. If you have ever paid us for hosting, a domain, or a website, this is you.

New to it? Getting Started with Your Client Portal is the quick tour, and How to Log In and Reset Your Password covers you if the password has slipped your mind.

If You Bought DrezSync

Here is the part that trips people up. Your license is not on a portal at all. It is already inside your own WordPress site.

Go to DrezSync in your WordPress admin menu, then Account. That one screen holds:

  • Your plan.
  • Your license key.
  • The button to deactivate your license, for when you want to move it to a different site.

That is all of license management, and you never need to leave your own dashboard to do it. Activating Your License and Moving It to Another Site walks through it.

You need the DrezSync customer portal for:

  • Downloading the plugin, including getting it again later if you lose the file.
  • Invoices and receipts.
  • Changing the card on file.
  • Cancelling a subscription.

It lives at customers.freemius.com, and the easiest way in is the link in your purchase email. You can also go straight there: the DrezSync customer portal.

If what you actually want is help using the plugin, that is a third thing, and it is over in the DrezSync articles. Setting it up for the first time? Start with How to Set Up DrezSync, Start to Finish.

Why Does My Bank Statement Say Freemius?

Because it should. DrezSync is sold through Freemius, who handle payments and licensing for us. Your charge shows up as FREEMIUS* DrezSync or FREEMIUS SOFTWARE. That is us. Nothing has gone wrong and you have not been charged by a stranger.

It is the same reason the DrezSync customer portal sits on a freemius.com address instead of ours. Different plumbing, same company behind it.

What About Project Invoices?

Neither portal, actually. Website design, graphic design, and marketing projects are invoiced through QuickBooks and arrive by email, so they will not show up in either place. Getting Started with Your Client Portal explains what your client portal does and does not cover.
