This article explains what DrezSync stores and where, so you can answer privacy questions and set expectations with customers.
On your website
- Your Google connection. The credentials and access token for your Google account are stored in your site’s database, encrypted, never in a file that can be reached from the web.
- Booking form entries. When someone books, their answers are saved as a normal Gravity Forms entry, the same as any other form. DrezSync does not keep a separate copy.
- Field settings. Your booking rules, such as calendar ID, hours, and slot length, are saved with the form.
On your Google Calendar
- Each booking is written to your calendar as an event, with the details from the form in the event description.
- If you turn on the Pro invite option, the customer’s email is added to the event as a guest so Google can send them an invite.
What DrezSync does not do
- It does not send booking data to DrezSync or to Ally Drez. The connection is strictly between your site and your Google account.
- It does not track your visitors or add analytics.
Removing data
- Disconnecting Google removes the stored token. Starting over also clears the saved credentials.
- Form entries are managed in Gravity Forms, where you can view, export, or delete them.
- Events already written to your calendar remain on your calendar until you remove them there.
If you handle personal data under a privacy law such as GDPR, treat booking entries like any other form submission in your existing process.
