What DrezSync Is and What You Need

DrezSync turns any Gravity Form into a booking form that stays in sync with your Google Calendar. It offers your open times, hides anything already booked, and writes each new booking to your calendar. This article covers what it does and what you need before you start.

What DrezSync does

  • Adds one or more booking fields to a Gravity Form, so you do not build date and time fields by hand.
  • Reads your Google Calendar to show only the times that are actually free.
  • Writes each booking back to your calendar as an event.
  • Re-checks availability at submit, so the same slot is never booked twice.

What you need

  • A WordPress site you administer.
  • Gravity Forms, installed, active, and licensed. DrezSync is an add-on for Gravity Forms.
  • PHP 7.4 or newer.
  • A Google account with the calendar you want to take bookings on.

Free or Pro

The free version is a complete booking tool: time-slot booking, calendar sync, auto-blocking of taken times, and as many booking fields per form as you need, each with its own calendar. Pro adds date-range rentals, group-booking capacity, overlap protection across fields, calendar routing by another field, custom event titles, customer invites, and priority support. See the Free vs Pro article for the full comparison.

The setup path

  1. Install and activate DrezSync alongside Gravity Forms.
  2. Connect your Google Calendar once. See Connecting Google Calendar.
  3. Add the DrezSync Booking field to a form and set your rules. See Your First Booking Form.

If you would rather not handle the Google connection yourself, we offer a done-for-you setup. See Getting Help and Support.
