Symptom: You used the booking field as a merge tag in the event title, and it printed something like “Sally May | 2026-08-25/2026-08-28” instead of a readable date.
Cause
That is the raw stored value showing through the merge tag. It was fixed in an update so the booking field renders as a friendly date wherever it is used as a merge tag.
Fix
- Make sure you are on the current version. Check the number at the bottom of Forms > Settings > DrezSync.
- Submit a fresh booking to test.
The title will now read a clean date, for example “August 25 to August 28, 2026” for a stay, or “July 15, 2026 at 9:00 AM” for a time slot. The same friendly formatting applies in notification emails, not just the calendar title.
Note about older events
Events created before the update keep their old title. Only new bookings pick up the corrected formatting. There is no need to edit past events unless you want to tidy them by hand.
