Setting Up a Date-Range Rental Booking

Date-range booking lets a customer book a span of days, check-in to check-out, instead of a single time slot. It suits rentals, stays, venues, and equipment hire. This is a Pro feature.

Set the field to range mode

  1. Add a DrezSync Booking field to your form, or edit an existing one.
  2. Set Booking type to Range of days.
  3. Enter the Google Calendar ID for the unit being booked. Use a dedicated calendar per unit so every event on it is a real booking.

When you choose Range of days, the time-of-day settings (Hours and Slot length) disappear, since a stay is measured in nights, not appointment times.

Add your check-in and check-out times

Set the Check-in time and Check-out time to your standard policy, for example check in after 3:00 PM and check out by 11:00 AM. These show on every booking’s event and invite, and are optional. Leave them blank to show the dates only. See Setting Check-In and Check-Out Times for detail.

How availability works

  • The customer picks a check-in and a check-out. DrezSync confirms every night in that range is free before it accepts the booking.
  • Checkout is treated hotel-style and does not occupy the checkout day, so the next guest can check in that day. See How Checkout Dates and Same-Day Turnover Work.
  • To allow more than one booking to overlap, for example if you have several identical units on one calendar, raise the Capacity per slot. Otherwise leave it at 1 so any overlap is blocked.

What gets written to the calendar

Each stay is written as an all-day event that runs from check-in to check-out. The event title and description spell out both dates, so at a glance you can see when the unit is occupied and when it frees up.
