Cards expire, banks reissue them, and every now and then one gets left in a pair of jeans on laundry day. Whatever happened to yours, you can put a new card on file yourself in about two minutes, right from your client portal. Your card is stored securely by our payment processor, not on our servers, so your details stay yours.
One small favor: please do not email or text us your card number. We would rather you kept it to yourself, and so would your bank.
Before You Start
- Grab your new card and its billing ZIP or postal code.
- Make sure you can log in. It is the same email and password you use at store.allydrez.com. Drawing a blank on the password? The “Forgot Password” link on the login page will sort you out.
- Would you rather not keep a card on file at all? No problem. You can pay each invoice by hand when it arrives.
Step 1: Log In to Your Client Portal
- Go to store.allydrez.com in your web browser.
- Enter the email address and password associated with your account, then click Login.
Step 2: Open Your Payment Methods
- From the top menu, click Billing.
- Select Payment Methods from the dropdown.
This page lists any cards currently on file for your account.
Step 3: Add Your New Card
- Click Add New Credit Card. (Depending on your view, this may appear as “Add Pay Method.”)
- Enter your card number, expiration date, security code, and billing ZIP or postal code in the secure form.
- Click Save. Your card is stored securely by our payment processor.
Step 4: Set the New Card as Your Default
This is the step people forget, so here is your reminder. Setting the card as default is what tells us to charge it for future invoices and renewals.
- Find your new card in the list.
- Click Set as Default (or select the default option next to it).
Step 5: Remove the Old Card (Optional)
Once your new card is saved and set as the default, you can wave goodbye to the old one:
- Locate the card you want to remove.
- Click Delete (or the trash icon) next to it.
A Quick Note on Timing
Note: If the card you are replacing is the only one on file for an active service, add the new card and make it your default before you delete the old one. Do it in that order and no renewal ever slips through the cracks.
