Changing your cPanel password is good security housekeeping, and essential if you think it may have been exposed. If you are already logged in, you can change it in a minute.
If You Are Logged In
- Click your username in the top-right corner of cPanel.
- Choose Password & Security.
- Enter your old password, then a strong new one twice, and save.
If You Are Locked Out
cPanel logins are usually tied to your hosting account, so if you cannot get in, contact your host to reset it. If we host you, just reach out and we will get you back in safely.
Make it a strong one. Your cPanel password guards your entire hosting account: files, email, and databases. Use a long, unique password stored in a password manager, and turn on two-factor authentication for an extra layer. See our guide on setting up 2FA.
Locked out or worried about a breach? We will help you secure the account. Reach us at support@allydrez.com or 1-321-209-2004.
