Web Disk lets you connect your server to your computer so it appears as an ordinary drive. Beyond your main account, you can create extra Web Disk accounts, each limited to a specific folder. That is handy when you want to give someone access to just one part of your site.
The Steps
- Log in to cPanel and open Web Disk in the Files section.
- Under Create an Additional Web Disk Account, enter a username and a strong password.
- Set the Directory to the folder this account should be limited to.
- Choose the permissions, then click Create.
Keep access tight. Give each additional account only the folder it needs, and turn on encryption if your host offers it, so files and logins stay protected in transit.
